How to Merge PDFs Privately in Your Browser
Private browser merging reads files locally and creates a new document on your device. You should still review what the output contains.

Use your own inputs in the tool ↗Choose a local processing path deliberately
A PDF merger combines pages; it is not automatically an OCR service, document editor or privacy guarantee. The DapplePilot pipeline is designed to read selected documents in the browser and produce an output without a file-upload endpoint. Final privacy verification still needs a browser network inspection. On a shared computer, downloaded files and visible filenames can remain accessible after the processing page closes.
Make page order explicit
If document A contains A1 and A2 and document B contains B1, selecting A then B should produce A1, A2, B1. Reordering the queue to B then A should produce B1, A1, A2. Different page dimensions should remain associated with their own pages. The executable fixture tests cover page order and dimensions; they do not prove that every real document’s forms or signatures survive.
Review each source before merging
Confirm that each file is the intended document and contains only pages you want to share. If one document contains unrelated personal information, use selected-page extraction before combining the results. The selection parser accepts comma-separated pages and inclusive ranges, such as 1-3,5. Repeated pages are normalized once, preserving the first requested order. Invalid page numbers should stop processing.
Understand supported limits
This build limits file sizes and total page count to keep local processing bounded. Corrupt or encrypted PDFs can fail. Merging copied pages may not preserve interactive fields, annotations or digital signatures as functioning features. A resulting file that opens is not evidence that a cryptographic signature remains valid. Use a specialist document workflow if those properties are essential.
Generate and inspect the actual file
Choose files, confirm their queue order, process and download the PDF. Check page count, first and last pages, mixed dimensions and any important text or images in an independent viewer. The PDF-to-JPG tool performs raster rendering and has separate DPI and pixel limits; it is not the same operation as merging. Printed or rendered images do not retain selectable text.
Clean up after sharing
Retain originals until the output has been checked. Cancel or changed settings must invalidate the prior result so an older download is not mistaken for the new selection. Browser memory, source files and downloaded files are different locations: clearing the interface does not delete files from your computer. Share the inspected output through a suitable channel and follow your own retention requirements.
